Note from Superintendent
Thank you for your interest in learning more about College Heights Christian School. Choosing the best school for your child is one of the most important responsibilities of parenting, and our goal is to make sure you have all of the information you need to determine whether or not CHCS is the right choice for your family.
Although there are many good schooling options in our area, we feel that CHCS has what we like to call a differential advantage. By this we mean that students who enroll here have access not only to a great academic education and school experience; they are also privileged to spend their school days in a Christ-centered learning environment.
The mission statement of CHCS reads: CHCS glorifies God through excellence as a Christ-centered learning environment that produces servant-leaders with a Biblical worldview. We truly want our graduates to be prepared to take positions of influence in their families, communities, workplaces, and world. From preschool through high school, students will experience a Christ-centered education that emphasizes academic excellence, Christian character, and the acquisition of skills and knowledge necessary for success beyond graduation. Most graduates choose to pursue higher education, and find the education they received at CHCS has equipped them for success. Those who go directly into the workplace, military or household management find they are well-equipped for success as well.
If you feel that CHCS may be a good fit for your family, please explore our website, review the CHCS Student Handbook including our admissions policy and statement of faith and contact us for information about next steps. Some helpful links are included on this page.
As a part of the admissions procedure, I get to meet most families personally during the interview process. This is one of the most enjoyable parts of my job, and I hope to meet you sometime soon. May the Lord direct your steps and give you wisdom through this important decision making process.
