Missions Week Highlights
Our annual Missions Week, held March 13 -17, 2017, was a huge success! This week is dedicated to serving others, and directly complements the school’s mission of developing servant leaders with a Biblical worldview.
One group of junior and senior level students and sponsors traveled to Chiriqui, Panama and the Ngavb village Indian reservation to work with the local people through children’s programs and other opportunities. A second group traveled to Red Bird Mission Work Camp in Beverly, Kentucky, to assist Appalachian low-income residents with home repair and other projects. Another group traveled to Cookson Hills Christian Children’s Home to assist with ongoing projects. Additionally, a group of freshmen students traveled to Ozark, Arkansas, to provide outreach services to the rural economically challenged community by completing physical labor projects and hosting children’s programs. Additionally, 63 High School students and sponsors canvased the community of Joplin to serve at Rapha House, Crosslines, God’s Resort, Neighborhood Life House, and area nursing homes. Their purpose is to serve the people and help the organization in any way they are needed.
