STUDENT FIRST TO RECEIVE AA DEGREE WHILE ATTENDING CHCS
Carmen Creswell, College Heights Christian School senior, will be the first student to graduate with a college associate degree while simultaneously getting her high school diploma from College Heights. Ms. Creswell started her college journey at Crowder College the summer between her sophomore and junior year at CHCS. She has now successfully completed 61 college credit hours and earned her Associate of Arts degree in General Studies. While doing so, Ms. Creswell also achieved selection in the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society and will graduate on May 14th with Magna Cum Laude honors.
Carmen was selected based on her high academic status at CHCS to start the program. Her future plans include attending Missouri State University in Springfield in the fall to pursue a degree in Computer Science and followed by a master’s degree in the future.
Carmen is the daughter of Travis and Molly Creswell of Joplin.
